DEAR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS
I trust you all enjoyed the beautiful sunny Franklin Distrist holiday weather. I certainly did. The teachers have reported the children have returned to school enthusiastic to see friends and settle to work. This would indicate a relaxing restful holiday for all was achieved. This term is full of exciting programme activities culminating in the annual Calf Club day on 25 September. Some of the activities to watch for include…
1 School Cross country
2 Senior classes Marae visit during Maori Language Week
3 Senior classes survival swim course using a % of the Ministry Sports allowance
4 School trip to MOTAT to research and interact with ‘TOYS’, our Term 3 theme.
CONGRATULATIONS
Saturday 17 July saw the Scout Hall Church transformed into a fantastic wedding venue for Ross & Brenda Julian’s wedding. Our PTA were wonderful caterers and our school hall looked most attractive for the reception. Congratulations Ross & Brenda. Ross & Brenda wish to thank all those who contributed so generously to make their day so very special. Thank you Patumahoe.

As our next round of netball starts for the term we wish all the teams heaps of fun and good luck. The season so far has been fantastic with all the teams showing great determination and giving their very best. Well done girls, keep it up! We do encourage parent support, as there is nothing nicer than having mum or dad cheering us on with positive attitudes. Netball is a fun game and a team sport which we hope the girls will play for years to come!"GO PATY!"
