DEAR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS

The wet Term 3 holidays are behind us but we can all be very thankful for the first Saturday with the weather enabling us to have a fantastic Club Club day. We had an amazing set of animal projects for viewing, excellent scarecrows and bean projects and superb indoor class displays. Thank you for supporting this important event in the school year. Our school can be identified by the parent and community contribution and involvement on the day. Each pupil produced work of an excellent standard. Thank you to our energetic and dynamic PTA and Calf Club organisers, your efforts are valued by parents and staff. A great day was had by all.

CALF CLUB GROUP DAY (for calves, lambs & goats)
If you would like to enter Group Day you just need to have competed at Patumahoe School Calf Club. Please send $5 entry fee in an envelope to school with the child’s name, animal entering, child’s DOB, (calves – breed and DOB). These need to be in at school by Friday 16 October.

ASSEMBLY
Assembly this Friday will be hosted by Rm 1 from 1.40pm

BUILDING SITE
As you will be aware the Admin upgrade has started and is on track with the floor to be poured this week and framing up next week. All parents and swim school parents are asked NOT to use the staff car park as the subcontractors and builders need uninterrupted access. We also have painters on site providing a whole school paint upgrade. The electricity upgrade has now been completed to our fence and distribution board awaiting connection. Exciting times!

SUNHATS
It is compulsory in Terms 4 & 1 for pupils to wear a school sunhat. Unfortunately our hat provider is no longer producing our hats and we are sourcing an alternative provider. If your child does not have a school hat, we have a set of loan hats from Room 9 or for our new entrants from their class teacher. We do still have some new large size (59cm) hats available.
